Paddock Johnson have called Port Sunlight home for over 30 years, developing a deep appreciation, and understanding of Lord Leverhulme’s masterpiece. Over the past 3 decades Paddock Johnson have been appointed to repair, refurbish, alter, and extend over 100 of the properties on the village including several of the public buildings.
Port Sunlight is rare in that most buildings within the conservation area are also Grade II listed meaning change can be challenging particularly for those unfamiliar with owning a listed property. Paddock Johnson provide advice and guidance for homeowners wanting to adapt their properties and obtain planning and listed building consents for a variety of types of project.
Paddock Johnson are currently working with the Port Sunlight Village Trust to develop design guidelines for extensions on the village, to help support property owners wishing to adapt their properties for 21st Century living whilst protecting the character and significance of the heritage asset.
