The new build apartments are located close to the active commercial hub of Heswall. Two former dwellings existed on the site prior to both buildings being converted for serviced office use. The scheme sees the site returned to its former residential use, providing nine spacious two and three bedroomed apartments. The layout incorporates generous amenity space in the form of private balconies to each dwelling, shared garden and off-street car parking.
The contemporary design and gable features create an attractive and active street facing elevation, while the large areas of glazing maximise the amount of natural daylight entering the interior spaces. The design has been informed by the contextual character, features and materials that exist within the surrounding development and these elements have been appropriately blended into the new apartment building using a palette of materials to enhance the site’s retained natural features and perimeter sandstone wall.
